The Cross Inn in Church Hill, Kinver, was winner of the South Staffordshire rural pub of the year. Its award will be presented to landlord Andy Clark on Thursday, June 5, at 7.30pm.

Dudley & South Staffordshire CAMRA's Dudley Winter Ales Fayre will be taking place at Dudley’s Town Hall from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 November 2025
Local Beer Festivals
- CANCELLED Warley Rugby Club beer festival
Friday 23 – Monday 26 May 2025
The beer festival planned for Warley Rugby Club from May 23 to 26 is off.
It was to have been staged at the club in Tat Bank Road, Oldbury with a dozen beers. Organisers hope it will be possible to put on the festival next year instead.
- Sedgley micropub holds its first beer festival
Friday 30 May – Sunday 1 June 2025
A Sedgley micropub is holding its first beer festival.
Sandsy's in Dudley Street will have extra real ales for the event which runs from Friday, May 30 to Sunday, June 1.
It will be open as a pub from 12 noon to 10pm each day.
Covered outside seating will be available during the festival.
There will be Black Country food available at Sandsy's, which also operates as a cafe in mornings.
- Black Country Boating Festival
Friday 12 – Sunday 14 September 2025
The annual Black Country Boating Festival returns to Bumblehole, Netherton, from September 12 to 14.
There will be a real ale bar and CAMRA members are being asked to once again volunteer to help. Please call Steve Tooth - the bar manager - on 07966 498671 if you are interested in supporting it.
- First Sedgley Scout Group beer festival
Friday 26 – Saturday 27 September 2025
The First Sedgley Scout Group's annual charity beer festival will be running on September 26 and 27.
It is being staged in the group's Jubilee Hall headquarters off Ladies Walk. There will be real ales, cider and a gin bar and live entertainment on both days.
