The Bird In Hand, Wordsley.

After a highly competitive window of judging, we can now reveal that the Dudley & South Staffs CAMRA Pub of the Year 2020 is the Bird in Hand, Wordsley!

Manageress, Paula Herbert, wishes to "thank all of the staff at the 'Birdie' for all of their hard work; without them this achievement would not have been possible. They have taken on board my aims, researched the Real Ales coming on sale and gained a lot of knowledge doing so".

A panel of eighteen judges from across the West Midlands scrutinised a shortlist of 6 contenders which accounts for just 2% of the pubs currently trading in the Dudley & South Staffordshire CAMRA branch area.

The presentation will take place on the evening of Monday 16th March 2020.
