Brook Inn reopens

Monday 15 September 2025

A Woodsetton pub that dates from 1835 has re-opened under new management.

The Brook Inn in Bourne Street had been shut for several months.

The branch had objected to plans to convert it to five flats and it had been up for sale.

The new manager is Tina Marson, formerly of Baggeridge Social Club.

It now has four hand pulls and real ale has been re-introduced at the Richmond Hill Breweries pub.

Opening hours are 12 noon to 11pm Monday to Friday and 12 noon to 12 midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.

There are plans to restore the beer garden next to the brook and for it to be in full use next summer.

The pub opened to the public again on September 11.

Another Dudley pub re-opened on Saturday, September 13.

The Limestone Caves in Wrens Hill Road is now owned by Balwinder Singh.

It serves Indian food, grills, wraps and burgers each day except Monday but does not offer real ale.
