Further improvements are taking place at a Sedgley real ale pub.

The beer garden at the rear of the White Lion in Bilston Street is being extended by three metres after planning permission was approved..

A new rear canopy will also be installed..

The garden space will be enclosed with two-metre board fencing..

Owner Keith Garbett is also having new flooring put in for the rear room which will also be used as a sports bar and there are plans to extend the bar to make it L-shaped to serve that area..

The pub is now offering six real ales..
