The Wolverhampton Summer Festival of Beer and Cider is going ahead from July 23 to 25.

The festival is once again being held in Wolverhampton Arts Centre in Dunkley Street.

Booking in advance guarantees a 50th anniversary of the Wolverhampton CAMRA branch festival glass and programme.

There will be live entertainment throughout Friday evening and all Saturday in the outside marquee.

It is the 49th annual festival run by the branch and it will feature more than 40 beers as well as real ciders.

Main sponsor is Wolverhampton's new Springbanks Brewery and Newbridge Brewery in Bilston is brewing a special festival ale.

Dudley and South Staffordshire branch will be visiting on the Friday and members are also being encouraged to volunteer to help with setting up, staffing and taking down the festival.
