The organising committee of the Dudley Winter Ales Fayre is seeking help to find commemorative glasses from each year of the real ale festival.

2026 marks 40 years of the event run by the Dudley and South Staffordshire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale.

A glass has been produced each year with a different theme except for 2020 when a festival could not be held because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

It is hoped to use a display of the 39 glasses to help promote the 2026 DWAF.

So far all but three glasses have been located.

Those that are missing are the 1986 glass - the first year of DWAF - and the 1998 and 1999 glasses.

The 2026 festival is taking place in Dudley Town Hall from November 26 to 28. Advance tickets for DWAF will be going on sale in September.

2026 also marks 50 years of the branch and beers with a ruby and gold theme will be among the 70 that will be on offer this year.

The branch is also looking to make contact with members who were involved in organising the first DWAF which was held in Netherton Arts Centre.
