A former shoemaker's house in the 18th century, this building has been a pub for 200 years. It sits on the top of the Black Country ridge, with distant views from the rear. Inside, the locals are friendly, the fires glow and dogs are welcome. The pub's house beer, Crispin's Ommer, comes from the on-site Fownes Brewery.
