See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

A canal side pub in the heart of the Black Country, enjoyed by boaters and locals alike. In the mid 19th Century it was a training base for Tipton born British Heavyweight prize fighter William Perry, better known as the Tipton Slasher. His statue stands in Coronation Gardens opposite. Food is served Mon to Thurs lunchtimes. Cobs and Pork Pies are available throughout the day. Serves Greene King Abbot Ale and Wye Valley HPA plus two changing guest ales which are usually pale beers. Level access into the pub and small step into WCs (not adapted). Mobility scooters have to be left outside due to limited space inside.
